300 people gathered at The Whitley in Buckhead Atlanta on Saturday, February 28th for Bully Ball Seventeen. We are thrilled to say that we raised $217,000 at the event, the most amount in Bully Ball history!
Guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbles from our Champagne Skirt sponsored by Rescue Dog Wine and Stephen and Taira Castora. After cocktail hour sponsored by Woodford Reserve, guests enjoyed a three-course dinner with wine from Rescue Dog Wines.
Petie’s Game, Give Now and the Live Auction brought in several thousand dollars for the rescue. Thank you to all of the donors and the highest bidders. And special thanks to Chad and Heather Williams for their $10,000 Give Now Match and to Bill and Deb Howell and Bill and Brenda Hamburg for each donating $5,000 to Give Now.
After dinner, guests enjoyed a lively casino and bidding on our wonderful silent auction items. There was also a chance to get kisses from the bullies at the Tito’s Kissing Booth, have photos taken in the Sounds Right Entertainment photo booth, grab a taste of Woodford Reserve from the drink cart, and take a chance to win premium wine donated by Susan Fralic in the wine pull. Special thanks to our Entertainment Sponsors, Roger and Cristi Satterfield, for providing us with music by The Potentials.
The Citadel Mascot, Bullseye, AKA “G4”, joined us for the second year in a row. Dunkin The Frenchie, our 2026 Cover Models, Birdie Rose and Brisket, and a few of our foster dogs were also in attendance. Shannon Smedley was awarded The William B. Fralic, Jr., Service Award for her many years of volunteering.
